Tummy Tuck
A tummy tuck is really for those of you who suffer from loose skin on the abdomen. It's not just fat, it's fat & loose skin which would still hang if we suck out the fat. If you have this problem and want it gone, then you're on the right page, as we have a ton of options, each one being differing based on how much skin needs to be removed. A tummy-tuck involves removing excess skin and fat from both the upper and lower abdomen, and tightening the abdominal muscles. Notice my signature "innie belly button" which makes the scar virtually invisible, a very low hidden incision, and beautiful natural curves. I do liposuction with almost all tummy tucks to achieve these results. Back Lipo and fat transfer to the buttocks, can also be added for a more complete 360 degree body transformation. It's usually a same day surgery, and patients can return to an office job in a week. If you've lost a large amount of weight and have loose skin which causes rashes underneath, it may be partially covered by insurance. Awake Mini Tummy Tuck
A mini tummy tuck targets the lower abdominal area for individuals with a small amount of excess skin and fat below the belly button. Unlike a full tummy tuck, the mini version requires a smaller incision and focuses solely on the area beneath the navel, and the naval remains untouched. During the procedure, loose skin is removed to create a smoother, more toned appearance. Recovery is typically faster compared to a full tummy tuck, with less scarring and downtime, making it a popular choice for those seeking a subtle yet effective improvement in their abdominal contour. Most people return to work in 3 days. I usually perform it under local anesthesia, although general anesthesia can be used.

A tummy tuck is best if there is loose skin on the abdomen, where liposuction alone would not be sufficient. Additionally, during the tummy-tuck the abdominal muscles are tightened. Notice my signature "innie belly button" which makes belly button incision virtually invisible, a low hidden incision, and subtle non-exaggerated curves. I also perform liposuction with almost all my tummy tucks to really create optimal curves, and a small waistline . Some people also choose to get liposuction of their back and fat transfer to the buttocks, for a more complete body transformation. Fleur-de-Lis (FDL) Tummy Tuck
(For Maximal Skin Removal)
An FDL Tummy Tuck is an option for those who have so much excessive / loose skin, that a regular tummy tuck wouldn't be enough to fully tighten the upper abdomen. To these patients, I offer the option to have additional skin and fat removed from the mid-abdomen as shown below and pulling it together towards the middle as well as pulling it down. This isn't for everyone, but for those who used to have a very large abdomen, have lost a good amount of weight, are now left with excessive loose skin weight, and want maximal skin removal and abdominal tightening, and are okay with having an additional vertical skin incision. This method also pulls in the waist, creating smoother curves. A lower body lift includes a tummy tuck, thigh lift, and buttock lift. Liposuction of waist, bra rolls and back can also be done, as well as fat transfer to the buttocks for the best 360° appearance.

A Panniculectomy w/ abdominoplasty is a large Tummy Tuck because of the extent of skin and fat removed. Such a procedure drastically improves the patient's quality of life and the panniculectomy portion can sometimes be covered by insurance, at least partially, if it is considered medically necessary. Bra Line Back Lift
A bra line back lift is a procedure designed to remove excess skin and fat from the middle back, particularly the area around the bra line that can bulge or sag. Arm Lift
During an arm lift, or brachioplasty, I remove excess skin and fat from the upper arms, creating a more toned and contoured appearance. The procedure typically involves an incision from the underarm area extending along the inside or back of the arm. The incision is place on the inner part of the arm, so when the arm is resting in it's normal position, the incision would be least visible. If you've lost significant amount of weight and have sagging skin, that won't retract any more, this would likely be the right option for you. Less severe cases can get away with just liposuction, and having the skin contract up as much as it can.
